Previously, he worked at the University of Karlsruhe and has been tea­ching tog­e­ther with Walter Levin the Graduate Quartet Program at the Music Academy Basel. His con­cert sche­du­le has inclu­ded con­certs at the Salzburg and Edinburgh Festivals, as well as at the Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna Konzerthaus and Musikverein, Wigmore Hall, Theatre du Chatelet Paris, Washington Library of Congress and Carnegie Hall. Yet even in the loudest tutti passages the players take great care that every melodic strand is audible. We wish our audi­ence lot of joy and plea­su­re at their homes while lis­ten­ing to the album! The Kuss Quartet plays exclu­si­ve­ly Pirastro strings. The coro­na­vi­rus pan­de­mic has reached Germany as well. Other pro­fes­sors are Heime Müller, who is also Artistic Director of the cam­pus, Dirk Mommertz from Fauré Quartett and Günter Pichler, legen­da­ry first vio­li­nist of the for­mer Alban Berg Quartet. William Coleman has made many appearan­ces as a cham­ber musi­ci­an and soloist, and as the vio­list of the acc­lai­med Berlin-based Kuss Quartet.

Her First Symphony 1841 reveals skilled orchestration and a confident handling of t. He has been invi­ted to give mas­ter­clas­ses world­wi­de, inclu­ding in the U. William Coleman plays on a Carlo Antonio Testore of 1736, once owned by the legen­da­ry vio­list Lionel Tertis, and plays exclu­si­ve­ly Evah Pirazzi Gold strings. In 2002, William joi­ned the Kuss Quartet. The com­mit­tee of the German Music Council has also appoin­ted him as Chairman of the Advisory Board and Jury of the German Music Competition.
