Osprey Kamber 32 Ski/Snow Pack

Osprey kamber 32

The helmet carry is quick and easy to deploy. But not to worry it still has all the key items needed for a day in the mountains. Made from durable fabric and featuring quick and easy ski and snowboard carry straps, this pack gives you carrying versatility for convenience and comfort in the backcountry. I actually looked at the Mammut Nirvana last year and seriously considered it. My older 35 L touring pack did not ride as well on my back and the difference when making turns in both the resort and backcountry is extremely noticeable. There is a ton of room for all of your gear plus loads more for your sleeping bag and food.

But I couldn't give full 5 stars for one reason: the only way to access the main compartment is back panel entry. The hip pockets were super helpful to store the essentials for quick access. I love the adjustable straps in making it a more sleek and slim backpack. The customer service at Osprey is the best. Overall, great ski pack would highly recommend it. I have yet to go for a tour with this pack but I have skied this pack in bounds a number of times. Let me know if you have any questions : Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions Have only used one time but didn't even know I had a pack on while skiing and I have never used a backpack while skiing. The bra can be clipped over the top of the bag keeping a helmet high and out of the way if you want to sit on the pack for lunch. When deployed two different helmet position options are available.

So yes, I do recommend the Kamber 32! The Kamber female version is called the Kestra pack comes in 22L, 32L and 40L versions, this review will focus on the 32L option. But size matters, and the Gregory was too small and the Osprey too big. But the rubber guards on the straps for a snowboard are what I brag about when I'm showing off this pack. But if you just have your skis on the side and your normal gear, it will be quite comfortable. I found this compartment a convenient place to store wet climbing skins separate from dry clothing in the main compartment of the pack.

The zipper loops make it super easy to open and close with gloves on. Made from durable fabric and featuring a form-fitting suspension system, the Kamber 22 is tough enough for whatever adventure you throw at it. First, the good - it is slim, carries my board multiple ways, has a bladder container that I will actually use, and can actually fit goggles and other small misc. Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer Let me start by saying I love Osprey. Remember, you still have the front pocket too! It was her first time and I wanted to make sure she had something that could hold all the gear and be easy to wear trekking up mountains.

Its super comfy and has a ton of storage for how little it is. Everything seems sturdy and well made as others have said about this pack. Timpanogos in early spring, a clip on the back of the bag broke. I picked up one of these for day long ski tours and it has been perfect. I have not found it on sale anywhere as it is still a relatively new pack. Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer This is my go-to pack for pre-work dawn patrols or anything else that only really involves one or two laps.
